How do I get all the components installed
by Windows to be shown in the Add/
Remove program list?

There are a few unique methods through
which we can control
what appears on the
program list:
If you have installed Windows in
C: drive, Go to C:\WINDOWS\inf
(substituting the correct drive letter for
your version of Windows) and open the
sysoc.inf file.


Look out for components that have the
word Hide as the second last item on
the row. This hide tells the system to
not to display those items/apps in the
Add/Remove program list. If you want
to have this item in the Add/Remove list,
simply replace it with a blank.
