The spell check in the Google Toolbar
in Internet Explorer is very useful.
However, you have inserted wrongly
written terms in the dictionary by
mistake.
You also can’t even find a
correction function anywhere.
It is a fact that the toolbar does not
offer any interactive access to the personal
dictionary. However, you can edit the
contents with a text editor.
Close your browser and start Windows
Explorer. Enter ‘%AppData%’ in the
address bar and press Enter. Then switch
to the ‘Google’ sub folder and look for the
file ‘User Dictionary.txt’ here.
To edit this file, open it with an editor
such as ‘notepad’. Here you can look for
the words which you have added line by
line in clear text. Delete the respective
line and save the text file to remove an
incorrect entry. Similarly, you can also add
your own terms to the dictionary here. You
can work with the correct dictionary after
restarting the browser.
