I don't like the new eye-candy Start menu and would like the classic default start menu that came with the older version of Windows. How do I get it?

To go back to the classic default Start menu, follow the steps and you shall have it in no time. Right click on the taskbar and select "Properties". Under the properties, select the 'Start menu"option. This is where you can choose between the "Classic Start menu" and the default "Start menu".





The tab "Customize" provided next to both the options lets you further customize the Start menu, you can add and delete the items that you would like to appear in the Start menu.Select the style for the Start menu and customize it further.
