How can I edit the default associations in IE?
By default, Internet Explorer has various associations where applications are set to work with it. You can change the default associations by: Go to " Tools " menu in the Internet Explorer Click on " Internet Options " and open the tab " Programs ".
You will find a list of associations, there are drop down bars where you can select an alternative application, for e.g, you can change the default " HTML editor " from " Microsoft Word " to " Notepad ". Click on " Apply " and your Internet Explorer associations will be edited immediately.
