Upon installing certain applications, their shortcuts get created in Start menu | Programs only for the current user. How to make it accessible to all user accounts?
Most applications give an option of creating Start menu shortcuts for all user accounts during installation. However, if it does not give the option and
creates shortcuts only for the current user, here is how you go about it: Right click on the shortcut or the program group from the Start menu and click copy.Navigate to Documents and Settings | All Users | Start Menu | Programs on the drive where Windows is installed and paste the contents.
The shortcuts or the program group will now appear in the Start menu of all user accounts.
